    I've always liked "Picnic". Not because it is a cinematic masterpiece
    (far from it) but I like the small town Midwestern setting and Kim Novak

    Plus the slow dance sequence is terrific.
    The supporting actors did a great job too, esp. Ros Russel and Arthur O'Connell.
    Great cinematography and, of course, that song.
