  • When joint management gets ignored

    So Goldsmith and Potaka have been avoiding discussion on joint
    management while they go their own way regarding the ski-fields. Sadly
    we should not expect more - the arrogant Nats are determined to
    consult nobody except their political donors.

    I suspect this will go to court before it is finished, but trust in
    the government should be severely dented - they appear not to believe
    in acting honourably regarding any management agreement. Ngati
    Tuwharetoa may be able to get ownership restored to the tribe - I have
    no doubt that they would manage it in accordance with the best
    interests of all New Zealanders - better than the current government
    at least.

    You have made several assumptions here. The article does not adequately provide sufficient detail to allow a balanced opinion but you dribble at the mouth with a shaky and baseless attack on the government,
