In short $115 million on a failed investment by the previous Labour Government.

Let us hope that this Government is more savvy with our tax money.

Green Energy, net zero, etc projects have a good chance of failure.

It is not clear whether this was a total loss of $115 million - it was
a loan and some may have been recovered.

There were also other investments - see: https://www.nzgif.co.nz/

It is clear that the current government are happy to just pay for
missing agreed targets - around $1 billion?

And save close to 3 billion.
