The first article says : "Global sea level rose faster than expected
in 2024, according to NASA analysis"

So you will be pleased the prediction did not come true, but perhaps
less pleased that the expected sea rise was lower than the actual rise
. . .

But perhaps that is within expected variance levels, so my comment was

Global sea levels are a serious problem in some places already . . .
