    Now I have to ask is this installed capacity or output power? The norm seems
    to be the former which is not really truthful/useful.

    Note these figures are for 2023, so what have they done in 2024 and has the faultering EV market numbers had any influence.

    So we have a figure we can quote to impress our friends.

    I note the use of the term "clean energy", it is a misnomer. These methods of generation may be cleaner than some others but they are not clean.
    We need to be better at describing what we mean and a website like the one you linked to should know better.
