Bird Flu Outbreak In Otago

You may have heard of the H7N6 strain of bird flu that has infected a
farm (just one so far) in Otago <https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/bird-flu-outbreak-on-otago-chicken-farm-family-of-workers-shocked-and-worried/BMRV353POJDF3MWEKAF5XIIRUM/>.

This infection did not come from overseas. Seems it made the leap from
wild birds to domesticated poultry right here in NZ.
