    I can understand that the Greens were so reluctant to use a mechanism
    for ejecting a rogue MP that a previous generation of Green leaders
    objected to so vociferously. However in this case it looks like
    Tana's conduct has clearly got her very offside with the party, and as
    a list MP her continued presence in Parliament blunted the proportion
    of MPs that the Greens should have.

    The situation for electorate MPs though is less clear as they have a
    direct mandate, regardless of party affiliation, with the electorate.

    This brings closure to these sad and sorry events.

    The Party "puts" the list MP and if they are not towing the line, supporting the Party then they should leave.

    Agreed if its an electorate seat then it is the voters who put them in and
    they should be removed by the voters at the next election. Otherwise we are getting into muddy waters.
