Careful and professional property management - and a friendly
government means that the Prime Minister is "fortunate" that his
government just happened to improve his property gains by around
$70,000.
Completely irrelevant. The PM is a property investor in exactly the
same way and for exactly the same reasons as most MPs representing non-Wellington electorates. The bright line test has been returned to
previous levels. No party advocating dedicated Capital Gains tax has
ever been elected IIRC.
