    A case of there are the odd clitches and the merchant needs to ensure that
    it is working well at their end. It is amazing that so many payments do
    through without any hassle.

    This article is targeted at merchants, not end-users. From the
    end-user point of view, this sort of error indicates that the merchant
    trying to secure payment from your card is not authorised to do so.
    For me this would raise a fraud red flag and I would withdraw
    immediately.
