I have posted in an earlier thread that some local speed limits were
lowered simply because the local council heeded a Labour government
directive, and this was done without any evidence supporting the need
for a reduction. I would expect this to be reversed, because the
reduction was an irrational decision.

That is a fair question, although having been a passenger in a Tesla a
few times with different drivers (some being taxis) I have not
observed much taking of the eyes off the road except when stopped. It
is worth looking into however, as is the similar problem with radios
and phone connections on other makes. I prefer the heads up display on
the front screen of my vehicle which shows the speed limit, actual
speed, directions if I have entered a destination. I also have a phone
connect on the steering wheel, and other buttons to adjust station or
volume. There have been may accidents caused by ''adjusting the radio"
- do you want those to be looked at as well?

so well with the Expressway from Porirua north - that is still causing
problems - and it was certainly an expensive way to build a road.

No more problems than any other major road in the last 10 years.
There is no evidence that it was too expensive - you are making shit up again. PPP works well, only left wing propogandists hate it. They yearn for the bad old days of the most inefficient department ever - the MOW - god forbid they ever re-appear.
