    I am wondering whether or not this restructure to inovate the news will last
    12 months.

    I will not be surprised if the ratings rise slight for a fortnight and then selle back to were they were followed shortly by a further sudden dive to
    the bottom.

    du Fresne is invariably on the button. He is one of the very few real journalists in this country.
    I hope that the government does not bail out any of our media, they need to stand alone and get no more handouts from the public purse.
    Stuff involved with news is a frightening prospect - I hope that fails and fast.
