• A Failiing Government

Nicola Willis is just out of her depth, and is now floundering: https://www.1news.co.nz/2024/04/11/the-maths-is-pretty-simple-scrutiny-on-govt-tax-cut-and-borrowing-plans/

Of course the handout to landlords is not helping either . . . and the government are making it easier to sack employees; reducing
precautions against dangerous new building methods, and making it
easier for landlords to evict tenants . . . this is government for
their rich mates - and quite a few MPs are doing very nicely out of it
    . . .

Meanwhile, they are increasing costs to ordinary New Zealanders,
dropping assistance with adequate water provision forcing local
authorities to significantly increase rates, increasing costs for
those driving EVs (but reducing the cost for fossil fuel large Utes),
and making large number of people redundant while vacancies are still
low from work done by the previous government - and we are starting to
    see more company failures.

No wonder Luxon is losing popularity - Chris Bishop must be absolutely
amazed at overtaking him in popularity!

What a disjointed rant with almost nothing to say.
    Getting even more desperate Rich?

More political rhetoric Rich. You cite an article in support of your
thread subject, then post a political rant that has nothing to do with
    the article or the subject.

I agree with the article when it contends that a reduction in income
taxes will be done before the reduced Government spending required has
taken effect. However this is what the Government has promised to do
so we are stuck with it.

While a leader's popularity is a long-term requirement, you omitted to
make any reference to the popularity of the leaders of Labour, the
Greens or any other political party. Perhaps there is a good reason
for this - they are less popular than the leader you despise so much.
