  • The potential of not meeting Climate Agreements

From Rich80105@21:1/5 to All on Fri Apr 5 20:53:59 2024

This article is from a year ago. We now have a new Government - have
they got rid of the people that could give us an update on that
    article?

Would NAct1st be prepared to put the top tax rate up to meet the cost?

    What a nonsense post.
There are no monetary costs to cancelling any agreements on climate change.
In fact - it might even save money.

Those agreements have links to trade - see for example: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/512259/the-unprecedented-power-the-government-is-handing-three-of-its-ministers-under-its-new-fast-track-approval-bill

Besides which, the Government have said that they wish to meet the
targets in those international agreements that Paula Bennett signed on
behalf of New Zealand all those years ago. Do you not believe them?

    So what - proves nothing.

So what - things can and do change.
    Do you not believe them?
    Stupid question.
