    views with the NZ Taxpayer Union - they pass on acceptable opinions

    as customers, scared by rising prices and reducing pay in real terms
    and lower job security, the likelihood of increasing rents and/or the
    certainty of rising rates are just saving whenever they can.

    NAct1st have put us into recession sooner than would have happened had
    they acted responsibly, but the reality is that they got their sums
    wrong and are not prepared to admit it by changing promises that
    should never have been made.

    Three different people, in quite different contexts, said recently
    that they thought there may be a collapse of the Coalition government
    in the next year (one said it may last longer than that but not long
    enough away for Seymour to get to be Deputy PM). Peters talking about
    the $5.6 million hole in Nicola Willis' costings was seen as the
    opening salvo.
