Found another job, so I'll move on. An election defeat clear out starts now. The reason he did not stand for an electoral seat has been obvious for months - he was always going to abandon the sinking ship. Can't say I blame him - a university will suit him very well - full of foolish people soon to become real human beings (trouble is they don't know it yet!).
