    I think you are confused. Unmarked police cars don't have
    red-and-blue lights over their roof, as that marks them. Truly
    unmarked police cars (which don't have the red-and-blue lights) are
    not allowed to pull people over, and people do not have to obey any
    attempt by an unmarked car to pull them over -- for obvious reasons,
    such that the tailing car may be intending robbery or worse.

    And if your gadget says those cop cars are from Mexico, well maybe you
    just dreamt all of this, or your incompetence extends into this and
    many other spheres. Do you believe in reality checks?

    Of course I tried putting those licence plate numbers into CarJam, just to
    see what info I could find. One thing I found interesting is that, under country of origin, both had “Mexico”.

    How many cars do you think we import from Mexico?

    In dealing with Traffic offenses in particular motorists can only be
    required to stop by marked vehicles.

    There are Police cars that are often referred to as 'unmarked' because
    they do not carry the normal NZ Police livery, however they do have
    the flashing red and blue lights that are concealed, usually behind
    front and rear grills and only visible when lit. So if you are
    signaled to stop by a Police Officer you must be able to see the red
    and blue lights.

    No, the statement was

    I presume Carjam provides information from registration records, which
    include country of manufacture.
