Climate change folks better get onto it. This great amount of CO2 needs to
be stopped. Not to mention the disruption to the air traffic.
Stopping volcanic eruptions is about as simple as stopping nature changing our climate, as she has successfully done since the biginning of life on this planet.
Maybe we could block the calderas of all volcanoes with the old ICE cars that we are replacing with all those EVs that we don't need anyway. Just a thought.

Icelend's CO2 footprint is about to go way up, maybe.

Sorry abit of topic. However one has to respsond to the Climate change folks >now and again.

Not really off topic, Gordon; it is a common misconception that events
like volcanoes must be more important than man-made influences. See https://earthathome.org/quick-faqs/do-volcanoes-cause-global-warming/ https://www.usgs.gov/programs/VHP/volcanoes-can-affect-climate#
(A quick search will give quite a few along those lines)

Unfortunately some will not take the hint to find out the facts; we do
need to be careful not to lead the credulous astray . . .

Better send James Shaw up there to wag his finger at the mountain.
I'm sure that will stop the eruptions.

Your faith is touching, if perhaps just a little misguided.
