    It's simply a take-it-or-leave-it post, offering a scholarly, but by no means exhaustive, in-plain-words history of an intractable conundrum that, to this day, continues to transcend all efforts and hopes for a secure and lasting resolution.

    I thought it was interesting none the less - and reminds us that history is (re)written by the victor - in this case, the question of whether the Israelis prior to 1948 were terrorists or freedom fighters.
    I don't think those Israeli militant groups ever got into massacring, burning and chopping up babies etcetera so probably somewhat incomparable to recent activities by Hamas.
