  • Remove overviews after spew removal

    I wrote a simple script that reads all message ID's from a file and
    sends the command "ctlinnd cancel (message id)" for each. It removes the articles from the spool, but not from the overviews.

    How do I safely delete them from the overview database without removing
    prior entries?

    expireover should take care of this as part of nightly news.daily
    processing.
