  • RockSolid Light - rslight

    I've just came across NovaBBS and Rock Solid light.

    Waiting for email code confirmation for a new account.

    Is there away to access the rocksolid newsgroups by RSS or pull
    via NNTP; into another NNTP server.

    I have a BBS and am interested in sharing these resources with in if that is allowed.

    Maybe this mechanism is broken.

    Is there away to access the rocksolid newsgroups by RSS or pull
    via NNTP; into another NNTP server.

    eternal-september.org has them.

    I have a BBS and am interested in sharing these resources with in if
    that is allowed.

    It is a shared hierarchy, ask E-S for NNTP/UUCP peering.

    I replied in alt.test and reading it on my system with same editor as I compose the message, things look ok.

    But I got your message where there seems to be some escape characters being displayed. I've tried to force my usenet client to not use extended ascii to see if that will help.

    If not; may need to use a different editor when posting/replying to usenet.. ---

    Problem still exists. Try to use only "> " as quoting character.

    That's not saying much, especially if the software does not allow you to display the raw text, i.e. what is actually transmitted before it is interpreted by the client.

    In your case it's this (without the leading "|"):

    Good luck, but it also seems like something is going on there, judging
    by the weird messages in news.admin.peering.
