The purpose of this wooden model of the nucleus of Iron

The loops of protons in Iron 56 take a couch shape that
ensures stability of the nucleus.

Next: Tungsten 183 as a cubic hexapyramid. Each pyramid
is taller by one layer than Iron 56.
