• troll-farm propagation servers

From D@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jun 9 16:08:22 2024
usenet news servers have always invited spam and troll-farm infestation,
    and the bigger they are the more abundant their propagation seems to be;
this short list includes some of the most notorious servers of all time,
(of course every smaller news server would appear further down the list)

    googlegroups.com (extinct)
    newsdemon.com
    theworld.com
    giganews.com
    news.uzoreto.com
    eternal-september.org
    blocknews.net
    astraweb.com
    usenetserver.com
    easynews.com
    etcetera...

This is a feature of the internet and, before the internet, BBS and
similar networks. You might even find trolling in an old petryglyph.

Someone posting via Mixmin to protest against trolling looks like a
    paradox :)

What makes you think he's protesting?
