    too soon to tell, or is the fat lady singing? if google is dead to usenet,
    is there a record of the very last and final article to have spewed forth
    from the belly of the beast, suitable for framing in memoriam of the holy

    The Date and Injection-Date headers indicate that 7e2...9cn was sent
    after ddf...aen, but it arrived (at least in my feed) before the
    ddf...aen.

    Not that it matters much.

    perhaps it doesn't matter much if at all to most users, but simply
    for the historical record it does matter when google groups ceased
    posting to usenet newsgroups, which thus far appears to be shortly
    after 7 a.m. (7:08:15am googleplex time) thursday 22 february 2024;
    unless any later post is cited, that's probably google's swan song
