near as often as someone in the 'burbs. it's the same reason why a tank
of fuel can last weeks.

they can also charge at work, shopping centre, etc. while they're
working, shopping, eating dinner, etc.

in other words, they can charge during the day at places they normally
go.

Will all of the non-home charging points be free? If so what entity, (government, the mall, the employer, etc.) is paying for the
electricity? How will the electric car users be taxed to help pay for
the roads? I would like an electric vehicle in many ways such as its
ability to store braking energy instead of wasting it as heat. So far
the proposals seem like a massive subsidy to the well-off or as I
sometimes sarcastically say, the virtuous rich.
