Are you talking about Form 1098 for mortgage interest? It
was never necessary to attach that to your tax return, and I
don't think I've ever seen one with multiple copies.
I don't know what you mean by "etc."
Or did you mean 1099-series forms? You still have to attach
Form 1099-R to your federal tax return if you file by mail,
but only if the 1099-R has federal tax withheld. Those often
have three copies. If there's only one copy, make a
photocopy and attach the copy.
