I thought Thunderbird(19) was the Mozilla Newsreader(1) but you list
them separately. Is there another Mozilla Newsreader?

The stat tool of my newsreader reads the headers of the articles and
gets all this information. My guess is the two listed aricles as
Thunderbird must be older versions which identified itself in the
User-Agent header that way OR it somehow focused on Thunderbird and
skipped over Mozilla. In any case you can add that to the Mozilla
group if you like.

I am not an expert, so take this with a grain of salt. Both Thunderbird
and Mozilla, are open source groups. They have separate websites now
for the most part. Thunderbird as a client uses large amounts of the
source code built around the web browser Mozilla provides. People think
they are one and the same group, but they're really not.
I use Betterbird, another software very similar to Thunderbird, based on
all the same code, open source, and free also. It would also be
considered as a Mozilla offshoot and the user agent in the header looks
like this: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:102.0)
Gecko/20100101 Betterbird/102.7.0
So if your tool would pick out Mozilla as my user agent, it needs some tweaking.

Hopefully you can garner some useful information from the monthly stats. However if these minor flaws are annoyances to people here I could just
stop posting the stats. Give me a sense of the group.

My newsreader Xananews cannot be tweaked. It is not under production
