• "Sign in to iTunes Store. Enter the password for your Apple ID "...@...

From Ant@21:1/5 to All on Mon Jan 2 01:59:22 2023
    Happy new year!

I keep getting "Sign in to iTunes Store. Enter the password for your
Apple ID "...@..." in my old iPhone 4S' iOS v9.3.6. Did Apple block old iPhones? No problems in my newer iPhones 6 + (v12.5.6) and iPhone 12
    mini (iOS v16.2).

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

It it asking you to perform 2FA or is it saying that your password is incorrect, or both?

If it's a password or 2FA issue then There's a workaround to this using
your newer iPhones to receive a 2FA code to use on the 4s; if the 4s has
the same AppleID as the new devices then you should receive a prompt on
other devices logged into the same AppleID.

When you have two-factor authentication enabled for your account, and
you try to sign into it on devices running older versions of iOS which
came before 2FA was introduced, the first time you attempt to sign in, a
2Fa code is sent to your other devices. You then need to append that
code to the very end of your password on the older device when you are
asked to sign in again. For instance, if your Apple ID username was "[email protected]" and your password was "mypassword", and the first time
you attempt to sign in you are sent a 2FA code "123456", you should take
the 2FA code you were sent and append it to your password, (as in "mypassword123456") to sign in. I believe there is some text in the
sign-in prompt about this, but it's been a while since I've done it so I
    could be wrong.

    That was weird!

    It says both (not 2FA).

Yes, they use the same Apple ID account.

That's not what I understood from your reply to sms.

Elsewhere, someone has mentioned that Apple may have updated some
cryptographic keys which need refreshing on your phone. Hopefully, your
    reboot has done that.

The reason these two are still bumbling around like this without
resolution is because they ignored my post which told them exactly how
to resolve the issue (by adding the 2FA code to the end of the password
    when signing in). : D
