    Don't all batteries swell? I remember old used iPhone 4S and 2 6+es
    swell up from their genuine batteries almost a couple years ago. :(

    Never seen. That happens only to cheap third party batteries.

    I had an aftermarket Anker battery swell up in an ancient plastic
    MacBook. Unfortunately aftermarket batteries are the only kind available
    for hardware that old.

    It was replaced without cost although the MacBook Pro was out of warranty,
    so no complaints here.
