Yet another capability that has been on Android for years is finally on iOS
18, where nospam in the past said it was "not wanted" & "not needed".

iOS 18 Lets You Lock and Hide Your Apps for Added Privacy https://www.macrumors.com/2024/06/10/ios-18-hide-lock-apps/

Not all apps can be locked, with Apple not providing an option for
innocuous apps like Maps, Clock, Calculator, and Stocks, but almost every
other app can be locked, including third-party apps. When you lock an app,
you have the option to hide it as well, which moves it into a locked,
hidden apps folder that requires authentication to open.

Your Android zealotry is so precious, little Arlen.

where nospam in the past said it was "not wanted" & "not needed".

Even though nospam hasn't posted here in over a year, he continues to
live rent-free in your tortured, little head to the extent that you
blatantly mischaracterize what he actually said in a lame attempt to
make him look bad behind his back. You're such a sad little loser, Arlen.

Ever since nospam's contract ran out to defend every missing functionality
on iOS as "not needed" and "not wanted", you've taken his place, it seems.

    Therefore...

How do you justify that iOS is more than a decade behind Android in terms
of the basic ability to customize the iOS homescreen as the user sees fit?
