I see no reason to switch from Bitwarden.

And I see no reason to switch from 1Password AND Bitwarden.

And I see not need to use another pw-manager than the current in iOS or
macOS at all. Third party apps are always a potential security risk. The
last severe incident is rather recent.

Like Apple has never had a security risk…

These third party apps are *increasing* the security risks.

And I see no reason to switch from 1Password AND Bitwarden.

And I see no reason to switch from KeepassXC for cross-platform (XC) use. https://keepassxc.org/

This crap was involved in a severe security incident not too long ago.

The PW manager in iOS/MacOS doesn't do 10% of what 1Password does - and
the announced app will likely only bring its light capabilities closer
    to the surface.

1Password has proven safe and secure.

Unfortunately it has gone to the milk-the-feeble-minded mode of renting
out their service rather than selling the s/w standalone and letting the
user store the encrypted file wherever he pleases.

Seems to be an Android problem that affects PW locker apps as opposed to 1Password itself.

<<< “We responsibly disclosed our findings to the affected password
managers and Android security team. Different password managers and
Google accepted our work as a valid issue,” the researchers said. >>>

    Colour me not worried ...
