Is there a faster way to manually type in texts to speak outloud in iPhone?

In Notes app in my iPhone 12 mini's iOS v17.1.1, I manually type in my
texts, highlight them, hold down to get menu options, have to swipe all
the way to the right to find "Speak". This takes too long.

Does iPhone's iOS have a faster way to do this since I can't talk well
outloud? I tried several free non-Apple's third party apps (e.g.,
Speak4Me app), but many want an Internet connection to use. I'm not
    always online. :(

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)
