I can't wait to dump the old boring iPhone from last year for this new one!
Tim Apple is running out of glaze.
At this point, Apple is merely a caretaker of the iPhone brand.
There is no real innovation possible from Apple - only hyperbole.
Why?
Because Apple is not a design company - they're a marketing powerhouse
which "creates demand" just like Big Tobacco did with Virginia Slims.
Gullible (but ignorant) women bought into the hype.
Just as gullible (just as ignorant) Apple customers buy into the hype.
Witness anything Alan Browne or Alan Baker or Jolly Roger says.
As with how Big Soda created "New Coke!" because they were desperate for something "new and exciting" to revitalize their flagging profit margins
in light of Pepsi competition, Apple is doing exactly the same things.
The new iPhone is the old iPhone with meaningless nonsensical tweaks
and a price tag that defies any semblance of reality (meaning that the
typical Apple customer is about as gullible as a customer can be).
Given Apple has a long sordid track record of being incompetent in both hardware and software design, this article says it best what Apple is.

The proof Apple is incompetent at software is the fact the iPhone is a toy operating system that not only can't do thousands of things every other operating system does, but it has two to three times the vulnerabilities
and over ten times the number of exploits in the wild.
The proof Apple is incompetent in hardware design is the fact that Apple
has never designed a best-in-class IC in its history (and no, if you have
to secretly throttle it, it's not best in class)...
Plus, Apple can't even _integrate_ an existing modem into an IC (something
many companies have long accomplished)... nor design their own 5G modem.
