MS Exchange account on iOS Mail app.

I’m switching companies and want to save all the messages in the Inbox. Is there a way to do that in the Mail app? I won’t have this account anymore after May 31.

Depends very much on how your iOS-device accesses the mails. That means
whether it has direct access or whether it runs on a "server" on the
device. Usually large corporations do not allow direct access by
personal devices not under their physical control.

If you mark them all unread, won't the mail app download them all
to local storage on your iphone? Just leave the exchange account on
the mail app, and add your new account. The old account won't get
any new messages, but the old messages should still stay.

They are already on downloaded to the phone, but I didn’t know if they “disappear” once the Exchange account becomes inactive.

Pretty sure you'd need to do this on a computer by copying the messages
to a local mailbox on the computer. That's the way I've always done it.
There are apps that make the procedure more convenient, like:

Yeah, I hadn't thought of that, getting fucked by apple.

Probably best to wait for nospam or arlen to answer. They are
the only people who know everything and are never wrong. Either
    of them can help.

    Sorry, I just don't know.

TIL when you lose access to your Microsoft Exchange account, Apple is
    fucking you. 🤡

nospam speaks in encrypted sentences and can never give a direct answer.
Which one is Arlen so I can ask him?
