    Melania Trump sues Hunter Biden for over $US1 billion over
    'defamatory' Epstein comments

    In short:

    Melania Trump has demanded Hunter Biden "retract the false,
    defamatory, and lewd" statements he made about her and Jeffrey
    Epstein, Fox News has reported.

    The notice states if Mr Biden fails to retract his statements, she
    will seek over $US1 billion in damages.

    Sometimes, a person has to establish they are innocent when they bring
    a suit against another person.

    The Daily Beast published the article, but retracted Michael Wolff's statements, which Biden used. The Daily Beast may have done this to
    avoid the cost of a lawsuit....Wolff's statements may have been valid.

    Wolff appears to have respectable credentials, <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Wolff_(journalist)>
    so his statements were most likely based upon this/that source.

    Epstein Files might well get released

    Biden may not have the economic resources, and I suspect DOJ would
    oppose releasing relevant information, if Wolff's source(s) are based
    upon content within them.

    IIRC, quite a few FBI agents are aware of contents within them, but
    will they be rewritten?

    Nothing more than a model, in my mind. And having intelligence is not
    a requirement to be a model, just a body.

    A compulsive liar generally can't recall details, and if factual info contradicts, this blows the case.

    I believe Biden could file for bankruptcy, and this amount is
    meaningless.

    Trump does not have a strong case against Hunter Biden

    poorly considered remarks. We're about to find out if Hunter inherited
    the trait.
