    Why would he know the first thing about military history? He got out of

    He did go to military school.....unknown if that school taught
    military history.

    He said "Many of our allies and friends are celebrating May 8th as
    Victory Day..." So, this tidbit may have been mentioned to him
    recently, or he could have been aware of it from social conversations,
    news bytes, etc.

    I'd speculate he heard about "May 8th" recently, and he's flooding the
    zone with shit. Like his Gulf of Mexico twist... I highly doubt he
    researches a topic.
