• Trump's use of wartime law

Trump's use of wartime law for Venezuela deportations is unlawful,
    judge rules
    ...
    ...
The judge, appointed by Trump during his first term in office,
permanently barred the administration from deporting Venezuelans
detained in the Southern District of Texas under the law.

His ruling was also the first to outright reject Trump's invocation of
the Alien Enemies Act, writing that Tren de Aragua's actions in the
U.S. did not amount to an "invasion" or "predatory incursion" that
would justify the use of the law.

"The President's invocation of the AEA through the Proclamation
exceeds the scope of the statute and, as a result, is unlawful," wrote Rodriguez

Media seems to be mentioning this aspect more these days.

Unknown if AP Stylebook touches upon this topic.

One of the most polarizing phrases in politics today. Who appointed the
judge should be the very least topic of interest.

*Should* be the least topic of interest. Thanks to Mitch "GoggleEyed
Bastard" McConnell's refusal to advance Obama appointees so that the Republicans could stuff the courts with their own sycophants,
    unfortunately, it matters.

I hope Mitch dies a truly horrible death. Car fire, at the minimum.
He's part of the reason we're in this situation.

Mitch McConnell is retiring after 40 years of working hard to make
Kentucky one of the poorest, most under-educated, and unhealthy states
    in the US.

May Moscow Mitch get everything he deserves in his retirement.
Starting with a painful bout of KARMA and ending with his burning in
    Hades for eternity.
