Host: You could call and get Abrego Garcia back.

    Trump: I could

Host: But the Supreme Court has ordered you to facilitate his release.

Trump: I'm not the one making this decision

    Host: You're the president!

"I could ... but we have lawyers who don't want to do that."

This means nothing less than the Trump Administration is in open
defiance of the Supreme Court of the United States.

Open defiance but not direct defiance. SCOTUS must issue direct orders
for the executive. No big words. No remands. Direct orders. Mark my
words, otherwise Donald's admin will not comply.

IIRC, Amy Coney Barrett adopted some children, and is a practicing
Catholic. I would like to think she opposes the T-Borg in this
    matter.

Unknown how the other Catholics on SCOTUS would respond, except for
    Clarence Thomas.

Studies have shown most illegals are good people, and are incarcerated
    less than US's citizens.

    'illegals'....decent people.

I wondered after posting, if a person perceived 'being bad' could have
serious consequences, their behavior adjusts to avoid consequences.

Judicial punishments everywhere are based in this modus operandi, but
for an illegal, I wonder if most respect the norms more so.

Crime rates are not similar worldwide, and I don't know if previous
studies have examined my point above.

    On a different note,

The Administration is committed to restoring the rule of law with
respect to Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Nonetheless, on March 31,
2025, Judge Edward Chen, a federal judge in San Francisco, ordered the department to continue TPS for Venezuelans. See National TPS Alliance,
et al., v. Kristi Noem et al., No. 3:25-cv-01766 (N.D. Cal. Mar. 31,
    2025). https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/temporary-protected-status/temporary-protected-status-designated-country-venezuela
