• the president is mentally unstable

    1. I want to suggest today that what we are seeing on Wall Street and
in markets around the world is the sudden realization that the
president is mentally unstable - that he has dementia, probably - and
as a result of that realization, investors no longer have any faith in
    Donald Trump.

    2. Yes, I know.

The conventional explanation for why markets have been tanking is the realization that Trump really meant what he said on the campaign
trail, and that his position on tariffs and trade wasn't just
rhetorical but firmer, stronger and more ideological than investors
    believed.

    3. But if Trump's position were a matter of conviction, markets might
be able to adjust, as conviction would beget a clear explanation and a
coherent plan of action, which in time would beget some kind of stable
order that investors might not like in the end, but could come to
    trust.

    4. That's not what's happening. Trust is long gone. On Monday, the S&P
500 fell 2.4% "in another wipeout," according to the AP. The Dow Jones
fell 2.5%, the Nasdaq 2.6 percent. More worryingly, the AP said, is
that US gov't bonds and the value of the dollar also fell.

I don't like the guy, but i definitely don't think he is mentally
unstable. I can think of other ways to describe him, but I don't think
    he's demented.

He has not been officially evaluated. That said, there is Project
2025, his ideas, and others producing the EOs, so it's hard to
    evaluate his inputs.

But, I would assume the tariff execution was based upon his ideations.
As such, a lack of reasoning is clearly exhibited. Consulting others
is a given, which was not done...breaking previous agreements is not
kosher politically, and expecting trans-national corps to come back
now to US's soil is foolish thinking. His mindset is not right.

Let's see, BA degree summa cum laude in political science and
philosophy, speaks English, and has writing skills.

He is aware of right vs wrong, but has followed a social climbing
path. He may have drifted into Catholicism for political points.

So being in a submissive position, he follows others' tunes, but if
elevated to a dominant role, he might modify previous stances.

Project 2025 engagement is a wild card....unless he perceives himself
as a 'special' person. Philosophically, he appears to be limited.

demented - irrationally (an illogical or unreasonable manner)

COVID POTUS - Mar 24, 2020 -- Trump wants 'packed churches' and

    POTUS's Tariffs

In COVID 'era', it was about supporting businesses, but in 'Tariff'

On another topic - Trump administration reverses termination of visas

Considering these students enrich US by several billion dollars each

Public Interest, and amounts to a dog and pony show for his biz.
