    He might need a doctor by then. But it's not a devasting insight;
large amounts of grunt knowledge-based working will be done by machines
    pretty soon.

Replacing grunt work with machines has been done for 100s and 100s of
years. We invented the plough to remove or decrease grunt work.

As science progresses, more and more grunt work will be automated and
we'll be happier and richer for it.

People will find other jobs, human desire is limitless, and the world will prosper.

So, I asked Google's AI this question, but stated it in two different
ways: "How many significant digits after the decimal point does Google
    map, or Google Earth use?"

    1. Google, in contexts like displaying latitude and longitude
coordinates on maps, uses 14 significant digits after the decimal
    point.

    2. Google Maps and Google Earth typically use 6 to 7 significant
    digits after the decimal point

Second answer is the more correct one, but first answer is off the
    charts.

will be done by machines pretty soon.

I won't get AI robotic surgery

Not for a while for that; just that a human doctor will be aided in
diagnosis. When I said machines, I meant software (see knowledge-based).

But Elon/etc are thinking in terms of enriching their pockets via
    eliminating employed persons.

Problems here, is who is going to makeup for a loss in taxes, and what
should be done with these unemployed persons...make Soylent Green
    burgers from them?

Their unrealized "vision" does not account for future ghost cities, a
lost in tax revenue, and massive unemployment.

What will happen is the taxpersons will tax those AI machines to a
    very high rate.
