• Elon Musk exceeded his authority

Federal judge says Elon Musk exceeded his authority and that
    dismantling USAID was 'likely' unconstitutional

And most likely, Trump will pardon him if Musk is taken to court [if
    there is a criminal case]

I find it mystifying that after 2 months in office (again), Trump's ego allows Musk to overshadow him. People used to protest at Trump venues, now they attack Musk's industries. This isn't the Trump I remember.

I think the tension is increasing. A lot of conflict is of course
happening off camera, but if the friction and tension continues to build, eventually I am expecting a public outburst, since Musk is as compulsive a tweeter as Trump.

Elon has let it be known he will not donate to those congressional
folks in the next election who do not toe the T-Borg-line.

I would not perceive Elon as a scapegoat when he publicly expresses
his intentions of "screwing" persons and government institutions, etc.
