    I believe the herd will move on....and AI will be used more.

    I'm not opposed to a paywall, but there ought to be a way to access
    all of them for those only wanting a look at an article/etc, and pay
    via universal payment system...like a penny for a view.

    Paywall owners tend to want too much for online content.

    and come over to Usenet for their moans...
