U.K. orders Apple to let it spy on users' encrypted accounts

Security officials in the United Kingdom have demanded that Apple
create a back door allowing them to retrieve all the content any Apple
user worldwide has uploaded to the cloud, people familiar with the
    matter told The Washington Post.

all the content any Apple user worldwide has uploaded to the cloud

Five eye's "vision" can see much more when Apple submits....

Coming to sweden soon. They are preparing the laws for this. Privacy is a
thing of the past. In the future, only technologists skilled in the art of
the open source, and self-hosting, will be able to communicate in secret.

The herd will be controlled from cradle to the grave by authoritarian politicians with a "democratic" veneer.

    Monitored, not controlled...

The aristocracy fears their peasants..., which is why this exists in
    US: "Starting May 7, 2025, you must have a REAL ID-compliant driver's
license to fly domestically in the United States"

Monitor leades to control, which leads to more monitoring. It is the yin
    and yang of authoritarianism.

REAL ID was about eliminating from scum from air flights, and
international travel. USA/Canada are not using surveillance camera
systems, so authoritarianism is not here as in China/Russia.

What!? Every time I've had to enter the country there are cameras over
every airport, photo + fingerprints in every passport control, add to
that, location of every phone stored, and the ability for the government
to access data from any private camera, and add to that, spy satellites.

ID is dehumanizing and an insult to humanity. The implication is that the politicians own you, that you are their property. ID must be abolished!

Yep... if terrorists would support freedom of speech, I assume you would
be against it? If terrorists were against slavery, I assume you would be
    for it?

    You see the problem here?

Logical thinking in the Twilight Zone is not always logical.

if terrorists would support freedom of speech

By definition, a terrorist would allow selected speech.

    If terrorists were against slavery,

By definition, they want to enslave people mentally.

Word definitions can be absolute, or relative to others' yardsticks.

"Terrorism is defined as a crime that is committed to frighten a
population or a specific group within the population. The goal of
terrorism is to inflict severe strain on society and harm a state"

Here below, for example, could suggest that Rs are environmental
    terrorists from others' viewpoint.

"At least since the Reagan Administration, the Republican Party has
tended to oppose environmental regulation, and climate change denial
has become almost universal among Republican leadership "
