    AI Overview

    Takeoff and Landing Performance

    A Cessna 172 Skyhawk needs a minimum of 1,630 ft (497 m) to take off
    at its maximum cruise speed of 124 knots (230 km/h). The ground roll
    for this takeoff is 960 ft (293 m)
    =================================

    AI scooped up data from a table, and screwed the pooch.

    Stall Speed is 48 kcas (knots calibrated airspeed), so take off speed
    is a pinch higher.
    ===============

    What is the takeoff and landing distance over a 50 foot obstacle in
    Cessna 172?

    Takeoff distance (50') 1,825.
    Landing distance (50') 1,280.

    I don't think you can trust a goddamned thing produced by AI. It could
    kill you.

    There's nothing intelligent about it.

    Google's AI does give references where the data/info came from, so
    it's up to the reader to verify.

    If the AI program gives references, I see nothing wrong with a AI
    search. But, "illiterate" persons who copy/paste may not detect
    incorrect information.
