Trump's impending return to White House brings criminal cases to a
    halt

Donald Trump's claimed U.S. presidential election victory on Wednesday
will essentially end the criminal cases brought against him, at least
for the four years he occupies the White House.
    ...
    ...
While Trump as president will have the authority to fire Smith and
shut down the federal cases against him, he will not have the same
control over the New York hush money case or Georgia's prosecution of
him for trying to overturn his 2020 loss in that state. But his unique
role as president makes it unlikely he will face legal consequences in
either case during his term in office.
    ...
    ...
In New York, Trump's lawyers are expected to ask Justice Juan Merchan
to delay his sentencing currently scheduled for Nov. 26 - in which he
could face up to four years in prison. Sentencing a president-elect
ahead of Inauguration Day would be unprecedented in U.S. history, and
legal experts expect the hearing to be delayed.

As those cases were only brought to stop Donald Trump becoming
the President of the USA again, that would make sense.

No point in wasting US tax-payers money on something that has
    already failed in its objective!

    he already pardon himself

Justice should be served in NY....no exceptions.

Just because a person wins a beauty contest should not affect their
    sentencing.

but it does , bill clinton proved that diddy

Polls conducted during 1998 and early 1999 showed that only about
one-third of Americans supported Clinton's impeachment or conviction.

The approved articles of impeachment would be submitted to the United
States Senate on January 7, 1999. A trial in the Senate then began,
with Chief Justice William Rehnquist presiding. On February 12,
Clinton was acquitted on both counts as neither received the necessary two-thirds majority vote of the senators present for conviction and
removal from office--in this instance 67 votes were needed. On Article
One, 45 senators voted to convict while 55 voted for acquittal. On
Article Two, 50 senators voted to convict while 50 voted for
acquittal.[3] Clinton remained in office for the remainder of his
    second term.[4]

They didn't go silent here though did they?

Just as we were coming to terms with "President Trump" v 2.0 a
voice in the wilderness piped up...

"Rigged Election...no iffs, ands, or butts!"

Because they accepted that this election was fair and no proof to the
contrary has been presented. They are good honest people. What you should
be worried about are the freedom-deniers. They are bad, bad people. =(
