EV are not even close to being ready to be rolled out to the masses. First energy generation must be solved in europe, then the energy grid must also
be fixed, then... public chargers have to be built, and _then_, there
might be a place for 20%-30% EVs, and now we're about 15-20 years into the future.

Note that VW and lots of global car manufacturers are now cancelling their plans to go EV only by 2030. It is impossible, and I am happy that it
means yet another failure and humiliation for the eco-fascists of the
    european union! =D

Sadly you are right on that one! ;) But let us pray together foe the
victory of Trump and the destruction of eco-fascism, the biggest threat
against freedom we currently know of!

I wouldn't be exactly "praying" for it myself, but I think Trump
could be the lesser of two evils... at 78 he probably won't
survive a second term either.(He's just about survived the
    running!)

At least with Trump you know exactly what you are getting. For
me over here, it's just more entertainment if he wins.

As for the electric cars thing, I wouldn't touch them with a
    barge pole!

YMMV, but if living in a city where mass transit would suffice,
vehicle ownership may not be needed.

In many US cities, mass transit is limited (or does not exist), so
vehicle transport tends to be the norm.

If mostly daily trips within a typical city, EV/Hybrid may be a good
option. But for longer trips, ICE vehicles would be a better solution
    since charging stations are limited.

EV battery cost has come down over the years, but if cheaper batteries
become available, EVs will cost less than ICE vehicles. Typical
buyers will gravitate towards EV ownership then.

But after Trump, you can then look forward to Vance + De Santis maybe? Or
do you think it will be Vance + Trump Jr.?
