Desperation grows to find hundreds unaccounted for in wake of Helene

Climbing death toll: At least 137 people have died across six states
and officials fear the death toll can rise following Hurricane Helene.
Many more remain missing, perhaps unable to leave their location or
unable to contact family where communications infrastructure is in
    shreds.

And GOP suggests global warming is hogwash...and wants to cut funding
for weather researchers, especially those who don't support their
    party line.

For any nation, I believe it tends to be a prudent policy.

"The sun never sets on the British Empire" was about "money"

Consumers/businesses in those affected states will most likely be
paying higher home/vehicle insurance rates, so the question is will
they mention to their congressional officials that global warming is
    costing them more/more bucks?

GOP has been supporting those in polluting businesses...

Until solar and wind power sources are made profitable, America and the
rest of the world will continue to suffer the consequences of global
warming. Money is what drives the U.S.; everything else is rhetoric.

We are one decent virus (I said "decent", COVID you incompetent you)
away from a solution. I'm sure the polar bears are busy whipping it up
in their polar laboratory right now.

7 billion deaths from now, the planet will rightsize itself, and rue the
day these incompetent, angry thundermonkeys ever escaped their cage.

Before-and-after images show Helene wiped parts of North Carolina off
    the map

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/03/weather/hurricane-helene-north-carolina-before-after-images-climate/index.html

Helene is deadliest mainland US hurricane since Katrina

The death toll from Hurricane Helene has surpassed 200 as rescuers
continue to search for survivors from the storm that tore across the
    US south-east.

More than half of the deaths were in North Carolina, where entire
communities were uprooted and devastated by the deadliest mainland
storm since Katrina in 2005, which killed more than 1,800 people.

Hundreds of people are still missing and 780,000 homes were without
power nearly a week after Helene made landfall. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1k70rnrp4xo

    Who cares.....

USA burns money into Zionist Israel for years instead of being
proactive with it's own simple environmental issues.

Not really a problem at all.

They have illegal charities dumping US money into ZIonist Israel.
Where are the real men of the US with the money to secure a simple
    issue

Oh wait the real men have no real women and living under LGBT and
other racist nut-jobs. The real mens fathers are trying to start a
    third or forth family.
