The question is if one can believe any of what Moscow says considering
their history of lying about everything. Although I at least think that an attack happened. If the drones were shot down or actua their targets might
be up for debate, although it's likely as Moscow most likely is one of the
few places that has a working air defense in place. It might be easier for Ukraine to just hit infrastructure supplying Moscow, but considering they
don't do the same terror tactics as the Russians that is rather unlikely.
I bet they keep to actual military targets.

One can infer Ukraine sent drones into Russian territory. Ukraine has
a drone factory which produces military grade drones, and their drones
    have attacked other Russian targets.

    Headline: Ukraine attacks Moscow

    Body:
    A. Ukraine attacked Moscow on Wednesday with at least 11 drones

    B. Russia says total of 45 drones downed overnight

    C. Moscow's airports, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky, limited
flights for four hours but restarted normal operations from 0330 GMT,
    Russia's aviation watchdog said.

    D. Two Russian citizens who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity
said the foiled drone attack simply showed how well defended Moscow
now was, and that Ukraine was "playing with fire" by attacking Russia
both in Kursk and in Moscow.

what they gonna do? attack Ukraine?

for what it's worth such a small attack likely was only meant to gather
intel on defenses. They are likely trying to find weak points in the air defense. The interruptions to air traffic likely are just side effects.

I suspect foreign spy satellites could pin down "anti-aircraft
batteries" locations at night but if those drones were flying just
above ground level (low-level ingress to the target area), I suspect
Ukraine's mission would have been successful.

    Good,
if Russians was to uprise, ( as with Romanov ) and the rest of the
former Republic was to advance at the same time we take Putin out
    office ASAP.

This is insanity. There is no reason ( especially after COVID ) to
attack Ukraine outside of exhausting US spending.

I think for russians to revolt, one of two things need to happen:

    1. Things in russia need to become waaaaay worse, as in people starving on
the streets. Currently russians are very far away from this state, and
thus the people will not revolt.

    or...

    2. Putin needs to mess up and show signs of old age and feeble mindedness.
Then his lords will take him out, in order to protect themselves.

At Alexei Navalny's funeral service, reporters suggested people
    attending were being photographed.

I would assume Big Brother's behavior is feared in Russia, which might
reduce the chance of a revolt.

That as well. I had dinner with an old colleague the other day who has relatives in St Petersburg, and I asked him, what about the people on the ground? Aren't they tired of it all?

And he told me, not at all. They are 100% convinced they will win, and
that nazis are all over Ukraine, and they cannot understand how europe,
once ravaged by nazis, could support ukraine, and that russia has the task
    of saving europe once again.

Needless to say, he stopped talking politics with his relatives.

The political elites everywhere have a tendency of deceiving the
public when it comes to their dirty laundry.

Even in US, the GOPers have gone full speed ahead in this direction.

In Russia, it appears that those who oppose are dealt with....

That, for me, is a forgiving factor. I often think, if all I was watching
was russian state television, I am 100% sure I would think exactly the
    same.

If those people would have the chance of getting a less biased media diet,
I am absolutely certain their values would converge with the rest of the
    world.

Therefore I am against Putin and his lackeys, and not against the ordinary russian person who is 100% indoctrinated.

Apparently not enough. People are not starving yet, and think that the war
is going great according to the propaganda.
