    The swift rise and fall of Rep. George Santos: A timeline

    The House Ethics Committee issued a report Thursday finding
    "substantial evidence" that Rep. George Santos of New York violated
    campaign finance and government ethics laws. The committee unanimously
    voted to refer evidence it collected on the freshman Republican to the Department of Justice, but it did not take any action against Santos.

    "Santos' conduct warrants public condemnation, is beneath the dignity
    of the office, and has brought severe discredit upon the House," the
    committee stated.

    Bwa ha ha. Santos deserves to have the book thrown at him for sure -
    what a grifter. But I do love it when these nitwits claim something has besmirched the "dignity of the office."

    More like an extremist-grifter....his behavior was off the charts.

    In a sense, he was a wolf in sheep-skin, but apparently, he thought
    his grifting could not be discovered.

    More like he gave away the game, made it too obvious what the rest of
    them are doing as well, called too much attention to the state of the institution.
