Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy ambush homicide: Person of
interest detained
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer was
killed in an ambush shooting outside the Palmdale sheriff's station on Saturday. An unidentified person of interest in the homicide case has
been detained, the department confirmed at about 6:15 a.m. Monday. A
department news conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

I'm aware of something similar....what happened in this case is the
shooter bragged about it, and one of his "friends" snitched on him.
