Recently Kilmar Abrego Garcia was returned to the US and is being held
in Tennessee. Since he was deported from Maryland, I looked at how he
got to Tennessee.
It appears that people accused of federal crimes are not covere3d by extradition procedures when state charges are involved. The feds are
allowed to move the prisoner to the federal district where he was indited.
